Zalman Silber
Formerly known as SkyTour, this popular attraction from Zalman Silber
is located at the very top of Australia’s famed Sydney Tower. It was
designed to be the largest simulated ride in the Southern Hemisphere,
replicating his success with New York's Skyride. In a similar fashion,
the Oztrek is an IMAX-like cinematic experience, but with kentic motion
seating that is synchronized with the action onscreen. It's the only
one of its kind in all Australia, and it's from Zalman Silber, a serial
entrepreneur and serial success when it comes to multimedia
entertainment for the whole family.
The OzTrek takes guests on an amazing virtual adventure across
Australia’s rich history and geography, bringing to life the wide
diversity of Australian landscapes using a unique combination of 3D
holographic technology, animated models, and scenic art. Zalman Silber
has created an multi-sensory extravaganza that will have audiences
swooping down like a sea eagle above Sydney’s icons, gliding
effortlessly over the Bridge, Opera House, and the warm sands of Bondi
beach. It's such a life-like experience that guests can almost feel the
exhilaration of white water rafting as they journey along a tropical
Queensland river!
Take a mark on the field at a game of Aussie Rules Football;
muster wild buffalos by helicopter in the Outback; get right into the
jaws of a huge saltwater crocodile - all in immersive surround sound,
with a three-storey high screen that wraps around for a hundred and
eighty degrees of you-are-there excitement! It's another Zalman Silber
production, and another sure winner among the multitude of attractions
that Sydney has to offer.
It's all at the Sydney Tower, an iconic landmark that symbolizes
the modern vision of the city and its residents. Opened to the public
decades ago, it remains a futuristic-looking building among Sydney's
other modern high-rise towers, a vantage point from which visitors can
still see the first rays of dawn over the city as well as the day's last
light. Three double-deck lifts provide lightining-fast access to the
structure's Golden Turret which houses two levels of restaurants and
telecommunication transmissions, three levels of power plants, a coffee
lounge, the observation deck - and of course, the Oztrek from Zalman
Silber!
